Document Control Manager – Macau
Our client is one of the world’s leading construction and civils contractors operating internationally. They have several high profile projects world-wide and are even now expanding their international presence, utilising their reputation and experience in quality flagship projects to make an impact globally.
They presently have need for a highly experienced, Document Control Manager to be based in Macau to join work on a prestigious $2.8Billion contract in the region. This is one of the biggest and most valuable projects in the Far East and the labour involved is huge.
Your duties will include:
• Manage a multinational team of document controllers
• Ensure the control and coordination of documentation and data within the operations & projects department
• Ensure all drawings/documentation are correctly identified, distributed and filed/store.
• Register drawing/documents, create transmittals and issue drawings and documents
• Assistance in the preparation, scanning, collation and issue of project drawings and documentation as required
• Assistance in the day to day processing of correspondence, documentation and drawings as required
• Assistance in the preparation collation and issue of reports and registers as may be required
• Liaise with client and other project partners to ensure consistency in document control as required
• General assistance to the Regional Project Execution Manager and Project Managers on a day to day basis
Requirements
Prerequisites for the position include:
• Experience with blue chip contractors managing the document control function on major construction projects ($1 Billion+ in value)
• Experience managing a multinational team
• Strong relationship management skills
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in similar roles
• Degree qualification is preferred
• Must be technically competent; analytical and management skills
