Document Controller

Job description / Role

- Oversees the entire Document Management and Records Control of the organization, for Emdad Services and its local subsidiary company - Intergulf General Contracting;
- To ensure that processes within the organization are controlled within prescribed limits by documentation as defined in the Quality Management System;
- Responsible for the development and effective implementation of the organizations central document management and control system;
- Management and maintenance of electronic document control system;
- Assisting the QHSE department for maintaining QHSE records at all sites;
- Undertake control of electronic and hard copy documentation;
- Assure compliance with document control, standards, policies and procedures, highlighting any errors or omissions;
- Coordinate progress document reviews;
- Create draft documents based on outlines created by others and based on standard templates;
- Be responsible for the maintenance and review of document management process;
- Assist in the completion of as-built documentation;
- Execute the responsibilities maintaining high level of ethical, moral and professional standards;

Requirements

- Diploma or Bachelors Degree
- Experience in Document Controlling
- Knowledgeable and experienced in engineering and construction industry, preferably Oil and Gas sector
- Requires minimum supervision
