Document Controller

Job description / Role

This is a great opportunity to join the Construction Week Qatar Awards Winner of Consultant of the Year 2013.

We are currently seeking a qualified Document Controller whose primary role will be to maintain an up to date Electronic Document Control System (EDMS), in a timely manner, consistent with a project contract requirements.

Requirements

Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate progressive experience in any of the following:
- EDM systems such as ACONEX, Livelink and Buzzsaw and Autocad.
- Scanning of documents for storage as specified in Project Control Document Strategy.
- Recording and transmitting all incoming and outgoing correspondence, drawings, specifications, receipt of documents, minutes of meetings and other project documentation and filing accordingly.
- Maintaining a hard copy reference library of all documentation which ensures quick and easy retrieval of information.

Qualification:
- A Bachelor degree would be beneficial together with a minimum of 5 years experience working as a Document Controller in the construction industry.
- Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and good typing skills is essential as is a good command of both written and spoken English.
- Prior experience in the Gulf Region would be advantageous.
