Employment: Full Time

Atkins has been appointed the role of Planning and Integration Consultant for the Qatar Central Planning Office (CPO). This has seen Atkins establish a project team in the clients office, with a remit to coordinate the development of new and upgrading infrastructure in the country.

To be effective in this role, the CPO has established a strong information management team comprised of CAD, GIS, graphics and document management professionals, to support and enable the integration, transport and engineering teams.

The CPO is responsible for controlling all documentation and a vast array of information from stakeholders and third parties, which needs managing and disseminating via the management systems being put in place.

Much of the information is written in Arabic and as such we are looking for a Document Controller whos first language is Arabic and is fluent in English to join the Atkins CPO Project team in Doha.

Requirements

- Maintain the letter tracking spread sheet
- Facilitate the following processes in accordance with the Document Management Strategy.
- Basic Arabic to English Translation
- Maintenance of incoming letter audit trails
- Maintenance of outgoing letter audit trails
- Maintain the correspondence hardcopy library. This includes security requirements, tracking loaned records and follow up actions on overdue loaned records.
- Perform quality checks on the hardcopy holding against the EDRM in accordance with ISO9000.
- Adhoc Translation from Arabic to English and vice versa.
