Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Plans, manages and oversees the total operations of Housing, hotel accommodation and personnel movements for the Doha AOR.

1. Develops master plans, organizational charts, workflows, policies and procedures for Housing and cascades day to day tasks and processes to assigned subordinates for feedback and response. These plans include short, mid and long term plans for department.

2. Establishes and submits the overall housing forecast for the fiscal year to the Community Director. Liaises with different sections and departments such as maintenance, HR Housing, AKC Housing etc.

3. Ensures the entire operations of Housing are functional and operating. Manages the overall service functions of the units which includes, unit cleaning, shifting, hotel/transit booking, utility billing & transfers, curtain installation and replacement. Maintains overall database and reporting systems submitted to Community Director.

4. Coordinates with Head of Contracts all contractual services and lease agreements are being followed and upheld to the standard agreed upon. Establishes monthly reporting system and delegates to subordinates and contractors to obtain relevant data and produce reports that reflect to the overall operation and performance.

5. Identifies suitable accommodation and negotiates with landlords and other related parties to determine appropriate rental/leasing rates for the company and business travellers. Liaises and arranges hotel accommodation for new arrivals and exiting employees of Qatargas on competitive corporate rates.

6. Works with internal customers to support company processes and procedure to ensure compliance with Company mandated programs are adhered to such as working with contract administration on tender for supplies.

7. Plans and supervises the activities of assigned employees in the Doha Housing Section.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management/Logistics or similar.

Minimum 8 years’ experience in housing and facilities management; including allocation and maintenance.

Good interpersonal and leadership skills with excellent written and oral English ability.

Management /Supervisory/skills essential.

Abilities and sensitivities to deal with people from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds.

Excellent communication skills.
