Job description / Role
Develop detailed engineering packages and drawings related to Electrical, Civil, Instrument & Mechanical using computer design software like Micro Stations, Plant Design Management System (PDMS), AutoCAD, CADD etc., Creating piping arrangements drawing, piping plans, P&ID etc., Consult Engineers to discuss the details of modifications to determine drawing requirements, Assist Engineers for completion of MOCs by providing detailed drawings, Update Plant Modifications & prepare as-built drawings by visiting the spot and based on actual measurement. Responsible in documentation & filing of plant related drawings, procedures & specifications, Locate files relating to specific design in database library, Copy drawings using print machine or blueprinting procedure etc., perform other related duties or assignments as directed in order to ensure achievement of desired requests.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of Technical Training.
Knowledge of drafting practices for mechanical and schematic layout.
Knowledge of International drafting standards.
Graphics manipulation and application through utilization of various software, File conversion and data file management. Basic computer knowledge and ability to use Microsoft office software.
To provide technical assistance in preparation & archiving of engineering packages by creating electronic drawings using various methods and different software's.
