Draftsman

Job description / Role

1. Responsible for creation and maintenance of parts and bills of material
2. Work directly with engineering staff, sales staff and customers to produce drawings and bills of
material from sketches, existing drawings, electronic images, along with written and verbal
descriptions.
3. Work closely with all departments in the plant to ensure that the drawings convey the correct
information and are error free.
4. Utilizes drafting resources to create new tools to more efficiently carry out above mentioned
tasks; includes hardware and software design.
5. Work from customer drawings, company drawings, vendor drawings or specifications. Use
corporate drawing standards as guidelines.
6. Performs additional related duties as requested or required.

Requirements

- Responsible for visual representation of building of structure for the developers.
- Should know how to incorporate changes or modifications according to the suggestion of the architect value to the sketches.
- Should know how to coordinate with architects and engineers in order to add to the value of the work or add aesthetic value to the sketches.
- Should have the ability to put thoughts into the action as fer as making drawings are concerned.
- Should have degree certificate or equivalent diploma as a draftsman.
- Must have more than 2 years experiences as a draftsman in the UAE or any GCC countries.
- Must have valid UAE residence visa
