Drainage Design Team Leader

Job description / Role

My client is a leading Middle East based Engineering consultancy with an excellent reputation and who have recently been awarded a major project of highway and drainage schemes in Doha for the public works authority.

They are currently looking to recruit an experienced drainage design team leader. The role will be to manage a team of drainage design engineers and technicians to ensure that all drainage design work is produced to the desired standard and on time and in the most profitable way possible.

The role will involve site supervision when required as well as client and contractor liaison on a regular basis.

Requirements

Candidates must have a degree in civil engineering and must be able to demonstrate an extensive career background in drainage design for major highway and infrastructure projects.

Candidates must have team leader and management expertise and must have excellent working knowledge of all international and local design standards.

Candidates must also be expert users in industry standard software and will preferably be based in Qatar with an NOC available.
