Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Assume responsibility and represent Design Department for all aspects related to surface / ground water drainage.
- Provide leadership in all relevant departmental functions.
- Lead external & internal coordination pertinent to surface & ground water drainage.
- Review, comment / recommend acceptance or otherwise of related consultants submissions.
- Comprehensive responsibility for management and control of related functions in in-house projects, including detailed scope definition and initiation, work progress and completion and staff management.
- Liaise with utilities providers and other stake holders.
- Performance of actual design duties when directed.
- Performance of other related duties as per management instructions.

Requirements

- BSc / BEng or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering from an institute of repute. CEng or equivalent preferred.
- 10 years of demonstrable experience in design & construction of infrastructure projects, with satisfactory exposure to all related disciplines, and management capacity in the last 5 years.
- An internationally recognized accredited University degree accepted by CEng, PE or PEng membership organization as a qualifying/exempting academic university degree qualification; and
- Chartered/Professional engineer status. Proof of current membership or registration in one of the following national professional engineering organizations is acceptable to the Authority as meeting the requirements of chartered/professional engineer status:

- Colegio de Ingenievos de Caminos, Member (min. 2 years)
- Canales y Puertos (Spain), Member (min. 2 years)
