ABOUT CLIENT:

One of the largest drilling contractors in the Middle East, providing its customers with quality drilling, work over and well maintenance services.

JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

This position requires the supervision of the crews that perform different tasks on the oil rig according to the regulations of the oil company, making sure that the work of the crew follows all company policies as well as enforcing rules regarding safety and PPE requirements.

Role Responsibilities:
- Supervise the drilling operations and associated activities and ensure that they are in accordance with the well program.
- Ensure that work in and around the drill floor and BOP occurs in a safe and efficient manner, meeting or exceeding the goals and objectives for safety, production and budget.
- Operate drill floor equipment.
- Oversee continual preventative maintenance and repair of the equipment used in the drilling operations.

Requirements

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- +5 years Experience in a similar position on board a semi-submersible or drillship

- Experience with NOV drilling equipment is preferred.

- Well Control Certificate (Sub Sea Drillers Level), IWCF is preferred.
