Job description / Role
ABOUT CLIENT:
One of the largest drilling contractors in the Middle East, providing its customers with quality drilling, workover and well maintenance services.
JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
A Rig/Drilling Mechanic must have extensive knowledge of the drilling rig equipment, parts and components.
Troubleshoot and repair problems
Perform preventative maintenance inspections
Work in the rig operation in accordance to company rig operating procedures
Receive specialized training on the subject of hazard conditions
Requirements
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
2+ Years of experience in the heavy equipment industry
High School Graduate, GED or equivalent.
Skill in rebuilding, inspecting and repairing equipment including hydraulic and overhauling engines.
Ability to handle heavy items and work in extreme weather conditions.
