Job description / Role
OVERVIEW
Our Algeria operation is currently seeking to appoint a Drilling Superintendent, preferably a western expat with minimum 15 years experience working on land rigs with 2,500 HP, top-drive / cyber-tech experience. This is a rotational position in Algeria.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
•Should have adequate knowledge on HSE Management elements.
•Should be capable of implementing Dalma’s Processes Management System requirements.
•Should have at least 3 years as a Drilling Superintendent or 10 years experience as a Senior Tool Pusher with the abilities to perform as a Drilling Superintendent.(Total: 15-20 years in oil industry).
•Should have a thorough knowledge on drilling/work over and associated activities.
•Should have a sound knowledge on drilling equipments/machinery and the requirement for maintenance and inspection.
•Should be conversant with international drilling practices and regulations.
•Should be fluent in English and good in Mathematics.
•Should have knowledge on using computers (MS office).
•Preferably an Engineering Degree/ Diploma holder.
•Should be a holder of IWCF (Supervisor Level) certificate and Stuck Pipe Prevention certificate.
• The job involves managing and monitoring the performance of his rig(s), maximum 3 rigs, in compliance with Dalma’s Processes Management System.
• Overall HSE responsibility for his rig(s).
• High standard of performance is expected from the job holder, as he holds overall responsibility of his rig(s), representing the company to the client at the base, and reports to the Area Manager.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ALGERIA
Valid passport
University / diploma certificate (copy needs to be attested by the Algerian embassy & notarized)
In absence of a university /diploma certificate - 10 years experience letters from previous companies
