Employment: Full Time

A Dry-Docking & Projects Superintendent is required in Dubai, UAE by a Contracting company.

My Client provides support and services to the offshore marine industry. They have substantial operations throughout the Middle East and the Caspian, with additional vessel operations in North Africa and Southeast Asia. With a diverse fleet of 100+ vessels, they support major offshore projects in the regions in which they operate, with anchor-handling tug supply vessels, platform supply vessels, multi-purpose supply vessels, specialized barges and ice-breakers among many others.

The Dry-Docking & Projects Superintendent will be reporting to the Projects Manager. He will carry out dockings of Company¡¦s specialized vessels including planning, specification compilation, procurement, liaison with shipyards, surveyors service engineers and Company operations personnel. Also, he will supervise projects to include major conversions or new building of offshore vessels.

Remuneration:
Salary Range: 25K - 28K
Housing Allowance: 10K
Transportation Allowance: 2K

Annual Leave: 30 Calendar Days

Requirements

• Class 1 Motor or Engineering / Naval Architecture Degree
• Minimum 3 years sea experience as Chief Engineer of Offshore Support vessels.
• Minimum 3 years of shore experience as Engineering / Projects or Dry Docking Superintendent
• Drawing approval experience
• Intimate knowledge of major Class Societies requirements
• Dry dock and Planned Maintenance System experience
• Experience of outfitting offshore vessels
• Operational experience of offshore support vessels Operational experience of offshore support vessels
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Has knowledge / experience of Dynamic Positioning
• Excellent English Communicating and strong analytical skills
• Age Preference: 40 ¡V 60 years old
• Nationality Preference: Western European
