Duct Shop Manager - Arabic Speaker

Job description / Role

Our client is one of the largest Qatari contracting organizations employing over 5,300 employees. It has a proven track record for delivering large and challenging projects on schedule, within budget, and according to required quality & specifications. They have had a presence in Qatar for over 50 years. They are in urgent need of a Duct Shop Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- To manage a total workforce of around 50 including 10 staff and 40 skilled labor including periodical recruitment of new staff and labor; training programs for new recruits , yearly assessments etc.. day to day HR issues .
- To manage the technical department of the factory consisting of Mechanical Engineer and Cad operators/Data entry clerks involved in preparation of production drawings , Quantity Takeoffs, Planning, preparation of cost estimates and quotations to customers.
- To manage the production in the factory ; familiarity with Duct Production Machinery, Maintenance and Productivity tools.
- To manage the Factory Store including Stock levels, material requisitions, deliveries to Customers.
- Directing and monitoring the outside sales effort including meetings with potential customers, timely replies to Requests for Quotations.
- Coordinating and attending meetings with Project Managers/ Customer Representatives for Timely Deliveries of Material and other technical issues
- Preparation of Invoices to Customers.

Requirements

- GCC experience is highly preferred.
- Must have bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in production and installation of GI ducts and associated accessories with preferably 5 years in the GCC.
- Arab nationals highly preferred.
- No outstanding NOC issues.
