Job description / Role
My client is a leading shipping company seeking an E-commerce Analyst. The primary function of this position is to be responsible for understanding high level e-commerce/web data and provide analytical support in translating it into meaningful business insights. Assist the E-Commerce Manager in developing business processes of e-commerce throughout the company, and influence customers to use e-commerce processes. Good understanding of standard e-commerce marketing.
- Assist the E-Commerce Manager to develop plans to expand the usage of e-commerce by customers, including product enhancement, training of sales staff to promote the usage of e-commerce and direct engagement with key customers who are potential e-commerce users.
- Support the E-commerce manager in fostering senior stakeholder support and internal acknowledgement for any new developments within the Ecommerce portfolio
- Collect feedback on product functionality from cluster/agency staff (and customers).
- Provide problem solving/helpdesk support when requested by e-commerce manager and escalate most important issues or recommendations.
- Monitor the levels of usage of the different e-commerce products against targets, propose adjustments to plans in order to reach targets and execute adjustments as per e-commerce manager instructions.
- Gather inputs on e-commerce development for sales strategy under supervision of e-commerce manager.
- Knowledge on web development, web maintenance and content management
- Capable of liaising with Technical solution providers, internal as well as external to deliver business needs
- Point of contact for testing all ecommerce solutions prior to being released into the production environment
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in a business related field.
Minimum Experience:
- 4+ years of total experience and one year in a position related to e-commerce activities is an added advantage
Job-Specific Skills:
- Understanding of customer service skills/processes
- Good Communication skills to interact with different departments/units and gather information and accordingly provide solutions
