Employment: Full Time

Plug-ins Electronix, a member of the Al-Futtaim Group's electronics division, is the largest multi-brand electronics and IT retailer in the UAE. Representing over 300 leading brands, the electronics powerhouse is currently situated in Dubai Festival City, BurJuman, Al-Ghurair City, Souk Madinat Jumeirah , Marina Mall (Abu Dhabi) and Dubai Mall. Plug-ins Electronix enjoys high-brand recognition across the Middle East and is known for its leadership position and trend-setting initiatives. Reputed for its extensive range of products, the electronics retail chain is underpinned by a team of product-savvy salespersons who guide and assist customers in their purchasing decisions.

Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce, the Online Product & Content Manager is responsible for online product identification, planning, content management and promotions. This includes identifying product gaps in the range and new product opportunities to drive sales and margin across each of the ecommerce sales channels. Will work closely and collaboratively with the Marketing Manager.

Online Merchandising & Marketing

* Implement online marketing and merchandising strategies with focus on high growth revenue profitability
* Launch and co-ordinate social media: Facebook & Twitter etc.
* As part of a multi-channel marketing team jointly develop and execute an annual online marketing and promotions plan in conjunction with the Head of E Commerce
* Budget management, to deliver all marketing activity within agreed online budgets
* Weekly reporting, analysis and on-going optimization of all online channels
* Work closely with the Marketing Manager to maximize customer retention

Product, Range and Promotions Management

* Attend all product range reviews and promotional meetings.
* Ensure that each critical element: product title, product image, product categorization, product attributes and cross linking relationships are all consistent with good usability and SEO conventions (search engine optimisation)
* Own the website ‘real estate' and work closely with the Head of Ecommerce to produce a strategy for maximizing the sales from these areas. Determine the maximum potential using the web tools available but with focus on:

General Management, Procedures and Administration

* Work with suppliers, partners and key internal departments that serve the ecommerce team within the Group, including but not limited to EIT, Logistics/Supply Chain/Buying/Marketing & Finance
* Ensure effective communication of website offers and new product developments to Call Centre and Operations teams
* Working (initially) with an external team (3rd Party) responsible for the design and content site and promotional activities

Requirements

To be successful in winning this role you should be able to demonstrate the following:

* Degree holder
* Minimum three years of experience in Buying/Product Selection/Product Marketing/Merchandising
* Experience of Ecommerce mass marketing to consumers and small businesses.
* High commercial understanding of the Plug Ins customer and product range
* Experience in delivering marketing and sales plans directly to online customers
* Decision Making; Networking and Building Relationships

* Proactiveness and Problem Solving
* Strategic Thinking and Innovation;
* Strong Financial and Commercial Accumen.
