Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The E-Learning Specialists role is to deliver training to end-users via Web-based and blended educational systems and corresponding software tools. Responsible for developing strategies and technologies in order to better instruct and educate staff across the organization. Will participate in the design, construction and implementation of e-learning applications and courseware that supports business objectives. Maintains Learning Management Systems and able to generate Analytics and create Dashboards on key e-learning metrics.

e-Learning Design and Delivery:
- Design and develop interactive e-learning courses that combine multiple components for a positive user experience: lectures, demonstrations, simulations, activities, quizzes, job aids, and other materials as needed
- Manage e-learning projects from initiation to closure, develop documentation, work plans, communication processes, and scope change processes, secures appropriate resources and coordinates tasks.
- Work with subject matter experts to define appropriate and engaging e-learning solutions including creative and interactive elements, navigation, testing, and tracking
- Provide consultation to departments seeking migration of training material to e-learning.
- Provide services and develop systems for online exams.

Administration:
- Manage learning interventions and projects within timelines and agreed service level agreements
- Monitor, measure and report on staff training and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timelines.
- Ensure training records/ database is maintained and updated on regular basis and produce reports / dashboards for management.
- Troubleshoot system issues and serve as a liaison with the Information Systems Department.
- Manage day to day needs with the learning management system and liaise with HRMS IT for integrating LMS to any system.
- Develop an effective document management process for organizing and retraining e-learning project related source files; scheduling periodic courses reviews for any needed updates; scheduling the expiration of training courses, if appropriate; tracking documentation and version control of all revisions and updates, etc

Budget Control:
- Assists the internal L&OD team with budget management and training economies and efficiencies.
- Conduct research into computer-based training products, services and systems in support of development and purchasing efforts.

Requirements

- Bachelors Degree or equivalent in related field.
- Professional certifications in e-learning applications would be preferred.
- Additionally, an ASTD (CPLP) or CIPD (CTP) or equivalent qualification preferred
- Five or more years of experience in developing e-learning training programs and materials in Learning Management System(s).
- Five or more years of basic project implementation experience.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of AICC and SCORM standards
- Proficiency in using in Articulate, Photoshop, Camtasia, and Captivate
