JOB PROFILE
A very exciting, challenging and demanding position that works with a VIP high profile client.
JOB PURPOSE
To deliver truly seamless and extraordinary level of personalized service to the finest details of the job for the assigned Principal. Quality of service is prime deliverable for all the services provided to clients and is a critical success factor for this role. The position holder must emphasize on Clients’ expectations with regard to quality and convenience and must demonstrate more than good secretarial and assistance skills. Diplomacy and tact are essential to handle various tasks along with the ability to delegate, influence and drive performance of third parties.
Job Profile:
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Ensure all legal & regulatory requirements applicable to site and company activities are in compliance with regulatory authorities in order to reduce the risk of financial penalties
• On the instruction of Operations Support & Quality Manager perform risk assessment & risk mitigation control activities, pertaining to health, environment and safety to ensure the effective implementation of the risk management program & reduce the risk of accidents
• Review inspection reports & prepare an action plan for implementation, in coordination with HOD’s and Site Supervisor to rectify any findings
• Carry out EH&S audits, inspections & surveys for all sites, offices and company accommodations to ensure health & safety of employees & to verify that plans, procedures & safe work practices are in compliance with EH&S standards
• Prepare EH&S training plans & deliver to schedule in order to improve employee morale, on EH&S activities & ensure employees are trained to meet the required competency levels & perform their work safely
• Provide advice & guidance, in accordance with EH&S procedures & standards, on EH&S to all sites to ensure a safe working environment for employees, contractors, visitors and residents of the buildings
• Adopt best practices & technology to implement the company EH&S policy through the framework of EH&S systems, safe work practices & enhance its effectiveness to ensure compliance with OHSAS 180001
Requirements
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering)
NEBOSH Level 3 International General Certificate or equivalent
Experience: Min. 5 years previous experience at supervisory level in the field of EH&S in the UAE
Knowledge: EH&S Management & Risk Assessment
COSHH Assessment & EH&S plan preparation
Detailed understanding of EH&S processes
Relevant UAE laws & regulations
Skills: English Language, Arabic preferable
Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Traits: Analytical & Problem Solving
Customer Service Orientation
Strong communication skills, assertive
