Job description / Role

ELV Engineer - HMAF - Doha, Qatar

As part of our MEP Projects team you should be able to perform your duties as below:
- to perform in any 3 or more fields of the systems in the design, installation, operation and integration with other systems of Fire Alarm, BMS, PA System, MATV, CCTV, SACS & Car Park System
- to execute the Projects & assignments efficiently and achieve milestones and scheduled completion. Track the project progress periodically to ensure that the scheduled works and the interfaces with other services and contractors are met. Ensure superior levels of quality by adhering to approved design, BOQ, contractual terms and conditions, project scope and method statements. Ensure strict compliance to engineering standards & practices, Govt. Regulations, HSE & Quality standards.
- to ensure accuracy of executed work as per approved shop drawings and adherence to engineering standards and minimize / eliminate repeat works. Follow up, monitor and ensure recording of verbal and written instructions and design changes to protect companys interest by comparing with concept design. Arrange and make all changes which were made during execution from the approved drawings and coordinate to provide as built drawings.
- to train, coach and motivate team members to maximize productivity and achieve the project milestones and completion targets.Identify training needs and recommend training for team members to improve skill levels and competency and to build up a multi skilled technical team. Ensure discipline and acceptable behaviour with all staff.
- to liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, local authorities and vendors to build & maintain cordial relationship and ensure smooth operations. Support companys goals for organic growth by generating new enquiries and jobs.

Requirements

Ideally you must have Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Electronics. Additionally you must have at least 5-10 years experience in GCC.
