Job description / Role
Kentz currently has an urgent requirement for an Engineering Manager. This position will be based in Dubai, with some travel to Iraq required on an ad hoc basis.
Responsibilities:
- Performance of all design / engineering activities.
- Interface with Project Manager on design / engineering issues.
- Planning, coordinating and managing the design / engineering of the project.
- Responsible for the efficiency and profitability of the Engineering Department
- Main interface with Client for engineering related activities to ensure that all reasonable requests are met.
- Approve all engineering / design work undertaken by the engineering group in accordance with company QA/QC procedures.
- To ensure that design activities are performed in accordance with the planned programme.
Requirements
- Engineering Degree, or equivalent.
- Familiar with ASME, International Design codes and Standards.
- 12+ years experience within the Oil & Gas industry; 5+ years within a similar position.
- Ability to work within a multi-national team is essential.
