Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• A new multispecialty Clinic, part of a reputed Healthcare Group in the UAE.

• Looking for a Western trained, Arabic speaking ENT Specialist/Consultant.

KEY OUTPUTS
• Provides ENT care to assigned patients according to current, best evidence-based standards and in accordance to the medical facility’s policy and regulations.
• Diagnose, manage and provide medical & surgical treatment for patients with ENT-related disorders.
• Evaluates patients and records clinical findings and plans of care.
• The ENT Physician will utilize the hospital's diagnostic, therapeutic and consultative resources to coordinate care of specified patients and to ensure comprehensive high-quality service delivery
• Observes the facility’s medical referral system whenever required; collaborates with other members of the health and administration team to ensure patient safety and quality treatment.
• Participates in the review and planning activities relevant to ENT services offered by the facility.
• Participates in the professional development and educational activities for the medical staff.
• Participates in the conduct of clinical audits as per the clinical governance policy of the facility.
• Active involvement in opportunities to promote the clinical services of the facility to the general public and the wider medical community Dubai and the UAE.
• Fulfills the professional requirements for the continuing maintenance of competencies in all aspects of ENT care and continual improvement of clinical practice.
• These responsibilities maybe shared with other specialties in the facility as required for efficient and effective implementation of the patient’s medical care plan.

Requirements

• Must have successfully completed a qualification of Bachelor of Science of Medicine from a reputable Medical school.
• Certification of higher professional education recognised by the Health Authority in Dubai.
• FRCS plus CCST in otorhinolaryngology, or American Board Certification, or FRCSC, or FRACS, or Arab Board Certification in ENT, or Equivalent recognised by the Health Authority in Dubai.
• Publications in peer reviewed journals are an added advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be computer literate.
• Strong awareness of medical malpractice protocols.
• Flexible, proactive team player.
• Flexibility and ability to cope with a changing environment.
• Fluent English.
• Knowledge of Arabic language is preferred.
• DHA License preferred.
