ABOUT CLIENT :
An exciting opportunity with an established leading Middle East based National Oil Company.
JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
- The EOR Development Specialist will lead the identification and selection of the optimal surface development concept and project execution strategies for the deployment of Enhance Oil Recovery (EOR) pilots and project across the company's portfolio.
The scope of the job covers the following major areas:
1. Responsible for the facility engineering aspects of EOR pilot design and execution.
2. Integrates the EOR surface development plan with subsurface development plan (wells, injection and production requirement), to ensure consistency between subsurface requirement and surface facility capacity.
3. To identify surface facilities requirement for a reliable and safe deployment of EOR processes.
4. To analyse, troubleshoot and refurbish existing surface infrastructure elements for optimum utilization during EOR pilots.
5. To manage surface infrastructure projects from conception through implementation, including pipelines, compressor stations, pumping stations, and oil/water/gas separation, CO2 recycling/processing facilities, reverse osmosis plant, polymer and surfactant mixing plant.
Requirements
1. Minimum of M.Sc. in Engineering
2. Preferably, 15+ years varied relevant industry experience.
3. Significant experience with oil field operations, surface production facilities and systems and surface facility optimization related to fluid processing.
4. Experience with water treating processes associated with solids control, oil/water separation and water chemistry management (sulfate removal, reverse osmosis, desalination, softening).
