Job description / Role
Responsibilities:
Identify transactions consuming high bandwidth; Review bandwidth scalability
Identify performance bottlenecks on data loads and SQLs; Leverage performance testing requirements tools for producing analysis reports

HP LoadRunner, HP Performance Center, DBTrace, Performance Tuning: SQL profiling, Trace Analysis, Loadster, LoadImpact, Testing Anywhere, OpenSTA
Requirements
Required Experience:
Telecom Domain Knowledge – 2+year
Experience in LDM Of Teradata for telecom – 2year
Working experience on Teradata/ Oracle databases
DB Performance Tuning: SQL profiling, Trace Analysis, Query Plan
Analysis, Contention/Locking Analysis, I/O analysis and distribution, Bottleneck analysis, Database tuning
Programming Languages: UNIX Shell Scripting, Oracle PL/SQL, SQL
Server T-SQL, Teradata BTEQ
Define test scope, estimates and timelines and overall test strategy
Project planning, tracking and status reporting
Motivate and mentor team members
Participate in proposal design and client presentations
Participate in activities like test process / methodology definitions / enhancements, building a Body of Knowledge
Very strong knowledge in SDLC Process, Quality Process, Software
Testing Life Cycle, Automation Testing, Performance Testing
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Working knowledge of Testing Tools like - HP LoadRunner, HP
Performance Center, DBTrace, Loadster, LoadImpact, Testing Anywhere,
OpenSTA, QTP, Clearquest, Borland Silktest, Open STA, Load Runner
