Job description / Role
- Testing/ enhancing dashboards as per requirements
- Schema Testing/ enhancement
- Strong experience on Testing Teradata and Abinitio code, Exposure to Teradata CLDM preferred, Testing processes know-how, Telecom domain exposure, DWBI background
Requirements
•Total 5+ yrs IT experience
•Telecom Domain Knowledge – 2+year
•Working experience on Abinitio tool
•Design, develop, document test plans, test criteria, test cases and acceptance criteria
•Quality and test advocacy and resolution of issues that impede the testing effort
•Knowledge in deriving test scenarios / cases from use cases / requirement specifications.
•Experience in testing Teradata user management
•Experience in testing DW schema design and development
•Work with end users to identify, test and deliver reports according to requirements.
•Test data models for new data warehouse development and/or changes to existing data stores.
•Test and report data warehouse improvement and growth projects.
•Monitor system details within the data warehouse, including stored procedures and execution time, and implement efficiency improvements.
•Sound knowledge of DWH, ETL and BI concepts
•Strong in ANSI SQL ,and analytic skills
•Teradata knowledge is mandatory (BTEQ and TD utilities such as FastExport, MLOAD and FLOAD)
•Testing experience in Telecom domain [Desirable, not mandatory]
•Exposure in any ETL tools will be added advantage
•Exposure to any reporting tool testing
•ALM hands on experience
