The Role

Nature Publishing Group (NPG) is a division of Macmillan Publishers Ltd, dedicated to serving the academic, professional scientific and medical communities.

Nature Arabic Edition has a vacancy for a hardworking editorial assistant.

This position involves working as part of a small editorial team on a new Arabic science publication, Nature Arabic Edition. The Editorial Assistant will be responsible for providing support in all stages of the publication of the magazine, as well as supporting senior editorial staff with the administration of the commissioning, planning and production.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a professional with some experience working within an editorial environment. The candidate will need to be dedicated, computer literate know their way around most productivity and desktop publishing applications. Above all however, the candidate will need to be hardworking and a team-player, and possess well-developed time-management skills.
