Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Participating as a team member in the design of robust engineering solutions for the successful development of energy projects
- Electrical LV, MCC and control system hardware design, and equipment selection according to the specifications and input from others in the team.
- To carry out the appropriate engineering calculations to provide backup information.
- Generation of Specifications / Datasheets
- Generation of CAD drawings
- Ensuring engineering related project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
- To assist when necessary in the testing as part of the R&D programme.
- To organise the procurement of small engineering items and assist the project managers inprocuring the larger equipment.
- To install and connect up electrical equipment, and fault find tracing electrical circuits.
- From time to time will be required to work a shift pattern to allow extended runs of the test facility.
- To liaise with the project managers to allow smooth integration of new equipment to test
- Working to health and safety, environmental other standards as they apply to the process
- Working to timescales and deadlines
- To provide electrical engineering support to the construction team

Requirements

- You should have at least 5 years related work experience within Oil and Gas industry
- Good communication skills and should be capable of working alone and as part of a team
- An understanding of Health and Safety legislation and its practical application
- Flexibility and willingness to be involved in all aspects of the operation
- Proficient in MS Office products, CAD packages preferably AutoCAD
