The RoleThe RoleDesign experience of electrical distribution networks utilizing the latest techniques for the design of these systems with good knowledge in 400, 132, 22/11 KV substation design for mixed used developments. Must have a thorough understanding of high voltage systems (400 / 132KV), medium voltage (22/11 KV), and low voltage (415/220 V) systems for designing the complete electrical distribution system for this 2,700 Hectare (Saadiyat Island) development. Must have a thorough understanding of local and international codes to be incorporated into the design of these of systems for sizing of cables, transformers, switchgear, etc. Must understand and be able to employ computer software for these designs and to check the designs performed by other electrical engineers. Prepares designs, specifications, and reports for these systems. |
RequirementsRequirementsBachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in designing electrical distribution systems. Must demonstrate a high level of English proficiency, both oral and written, and be able to produce professional reports for presentation, review and approval by UAE government agencies. |
