Employment: Full Time

Our client, a reputable Architecture, Engineering and Consulting company is currently recruiting for an Electrical Design Engineer . You will be reporting directly to Electrical Design Leader.

Job Description:
- Review electrical design calculations and verify with local and international codes.
- Be able to perform electrical calculations and produce electrical drawings to be presented to clients and contractors that are carried out to construction.
- Attend weekly meetings with stakeholders to give/receive feedback on all electrical questions, pertaining to airfield lighting, instrumentation, transformers, LV/HV networks and generators.

Requirements

Airfield electrical and navigational aid system design knowledge with respect to AGL, ALCMS, and ILS is required.

Experience with electrical system design of LV / HV generators, Instrumentation, transformers and switchgear is recommended.

Hands-on experience in synchronization load sharing & protective relays coordination; skills in carrying out load studies especially for non-linear loads and writing reports; and knowledge of grid codes and evacuation into grids is desirable; Should be able to do this independently with minimal supervision.
