The RoleThe RoleTo take care of complete activities related to Electrical Design in the Engineering Department. Reviews the Project Schedule and working with the relevant discipline Superintendents, Construction Manager and Field Engineering Manager, develops day schedules as required. Performs inspections of all relevant discipline work in progress on a continuing basis & witnesses tests prior to turnover to the client. Assists the relevant discipline Superintendent and Field Engineering Manager in solving problems (what problems) Issues job wide inspection criteria that may be over and above the normal inspection. Establishes with the design office those permanent materials and construction materials to be ordered by the field, establishes cut-off dates for jobsite material requisitioning and issues field material requisitions as required. Reviews design drawings for construction requirements to determine that enough information is shown for construction use. |
RequirementsRequirementsShould have experience in Contracting company on Infrastructure projects. • Technical knowledge of construction engineering relating to all disciplines. • Knowledge of construction activities related to all engineering disciplines, cost and scheduling and contract administration. |
