Employment: Full Time

This Growing international multi disciplinary have secure major design and delivery contracts in the UAE and beyond. Thus they are growing their Abu Dhabi based team.
Currently with a major project in Aviation in the UAE, they are seeking an Electrical Engineer who will be a leader for design and delivery of Electrical Airfield systems.

This individual will be representing this consultancy to clients and external consultants, assisting in building up and driving a small MEP design team, and over all project design and delivery of aviation projects.

Requirements

Minimum 10 years post graduation of Qualification - BS/ Diploma (Electrical Engineering), 3 years of GCC experience is required.

Airfield electrical and navigational aid system design knowledge with respect to AGL, ALCMS, and ILS is required. Experience with electrical system design of LV / HV generators, Instrumentation, transformers and switchgear is recommended. Hands-on experience in synchronization load sharing & protective relays coordination; skills in carrying out load studies especially for non-linear loads and writing reports; and knowledge of grid codes and evacuation into grids is desirable; should be able to do this independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent English communication, written and verbal, is required to represent this International design consultancy.

The ability to work autonomously, manage a small team and to inject a positive attitude in to the work environment is necessary.
