Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client, an architecture, design, engineering and planning practice, is recruiting an Electrical Design Manager / Lead Electrical Designer to lead the company's electrical section and its projects.

Tasks:
-Define long term strategy for the electrical section
-Manage projects from initiation to closure ensuring deadline are met and projects are delivered within budgets
-Optimize costs and increase profitability
-Liaise and support other heads of departments during RFPs
-Define milestones to guide all the projects
-Supervise and approve the development of electrical designs from concept to completion
-Make site visits and attend site meetings when required
-Provide support to on site electrical engineers and respond to technical queries raised

Requirements

-Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
-Ability to define size and composition of design teams according to project requirements
-Strong experience in design and site supervision
-Knowledge of International Standards and Codes
-Knowledge of CAD standards and procedures
