Electrical / Electronic Service Engineer

Job description / Role

a. To coordinate all activities provided by each support group of the Doosan with two other TAs, warranty coordinator and engineer, Doosans support group stated in Korea, and Companys staff and local site labors.
b. To schedule and conduct yearly maintenance planning meetings, pre-outage meetings, and post-outage meetings for each steam turbine and auxiliaries
c. To advise the Company on planning, scheduling, preparation of necessary manpower, parts, tools, consumables, and procedures for maintenance activities
d. To conduct assessment of the operating condition of the Steam turbine and auxiliaries and address any concerns of the plant operations and maintenance personnel.
e. To assist the Company in inventory control and tracking of parts for the Steam turbine and auxiliaries
f. To forward Technical Information notices on Steam turbine and auxiliaries to the Owner and plan the implementation of any recommendations form these documents.
g. To respond to Companys technical inquiries including access to the appropriate the Doosans engineering and commercial personnel
h. To work with the plant operations and maintenance staff in developing and maintaining operating records for the Steam turbine and auxiliaries .
i. To advise the Company on routine maintenance. To check, review and comment on routine maintenance procedures prepared by the Company.
j. To advise the Company on the operation of steam turbine and auxiliaries. To check the operating parameters of steam turbine and auxiliaries for any abnormalities and advise the Company the necessary countermeasures
k. Troubleshooting
In case of occurrence of any troubles such as a forced outage of steam turbine and auxiliaries, Technical coordinator shall:
- Attend at the location of the trouble immediately.
- Investigate the cause of trouble
- Report the result of the investigation with sufficient data to appropriate sections of the Doosan, and notify the Company
- Establish necessary countermeasures for the trouble in cooperation with the appropriate sections of the Doosan, which includes dispatch of TAs to site, preparation of procedures, schedule for remedial work, supply of necessary parts to carry out the countermeasures.
l. Technical correspondence: to reply to the Companys technical inquiries concerning operation and maintenance of the Steam turbine and auxiliaries
m. Assistance in the planned and unplanned maintenance work
- To advise the Company in planning and preparation for the work
- To observe the work to maintain the quality control
- To advise the Company to cope with technical problems encountered in the work
- To observe and check the disassembled parts and components of steam turbine and auxiliaries for any damage/deterioration.
n. Reporting
- Shall report on his activities to the Program Manager of the Doosan, on weekly basis with actual operating hours and plant status.

Requirements

1. Knowledge of preventive, routine maintenance and overhaul work of large scale steam turbine and auxiliaries
2. Knowledge of lifting work of heavy component, piping work, welding work, thermal insulation work and scaffolding work
3. Knowledge of tools, equipment and material necessary for overhaul of large scale steam turbine and auxiliaries
4. Capable to plan schedule, manpower, and necessary tools/equipment for overhaul of large scale steam turbine and auxiliaries.
5. Capable to arrange necessary manpower, tools/equipment for overhaul of large scale steam turbine and auxiliaries.
6. Capable to manage/control staff and workers.
7. Knowledge of safety management.
8. Knowledge of quality assurance.
9. Experience of more than 15 years and 7 times working as Maintenance Engineer and/or Manager for Preventive and Routine Maintenance and Overhaul (including 2 times Major Overhaul at least) of large scale steam turbine and auxiliaries in KSA (especially working with SEC)
