Electrical Engineer (Degree qualified) - Interviews in London!

Our client is state-owned by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, they are overseeing the build of residential, commercial, community facilities and contractor camps across Saudi Arabia.

As the Electrical Engineer you will have full responsibility for reviewing design packages for new electrical systems and equipment including motors, generators, switchgear, distribution networks, lighting and power outlets, communication systems, data and voice networks, including drawings, detail scope of work, Bill of Materials, and preliminary cost estimates.

- The applicant must have full knowledge of all types of electrical systems including power and lighting, mains electrical distribution networks supporting switchgear, transfer switches, transformers and standby power systems
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in design and construction of electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings and facilities
- Fully familiar with IEE, NEC and other applicable standards
- Full Computer knowledge and be fully capable of using Electronic programs and applications in checking design standards and equipment performance
- Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English with special emphasis on preparing technical reports and design studies
- Must be fully dependable, dedicated and work with minimal supervision

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

A. EDUCATION: B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
B. EXPERIENCE: Minimum 8 years’ experience in the design and execution of electrical projects integrated into residential, office buildings, large recreational facilities, food courts and dining areas, schools, industrial applications involving pumps, motors and specialist rotating equipment
C. LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Full knowledge of Technical English in order to prepare studies and report and to develop and present professional Power Point presentations
D. OTHER: Must have full knowledge of engineering practices, economic principles, calculation methods, detail design requirements and European and US standards and Specifications
