Senior Electrical Engineer ( Main Contracting)
( Must have 7 years’ experience using Scada)
An exciting opportunity exists within a top international Main Contracting for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their delivery team in Qatar
Reporting to the Head of MEP you will have responsibility for providing technical and design leadership to a team of electrical engineers and for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality.
• You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the delivery of complex electrical projects
• Responsible for overseeing detailed design and design calculations
• Ensure compliance with scope of works, time schedule and cost control
• Work closely with your mechanical counterpart and Head of MEP you will play an integral part in ensuring technical excellence on projects and throughout the division
• Liaise with international offices as appropriate to the projects
• This is a broad role which requires an individual with be very hands on as regards design and the team but also be accountable for contributing to the strategic leadership and operational performance.
Requirements
To be considered for this role you will ideally have a degree in electrical engineering or equivalent, 10+ years of experience, and a proven ability of successfully managing electrical teams. You must also have at least 7 years’ experience in Scada systems. This position would suit a focused, personable and technically strong Electrical Engineer with previous people, project and client management experience
