The RoleThe RoleLocation: Doha, Qatar Salary: QAR15000 to QAR 20000 based on experience. Our Client is a Global Specialist construction and project management consultancy. With over 10000 employees globally and their head office in the UK, they are also one of the contractors for the FIFA 2022 World Cup in Qatar. They were extensively involved with the Qatar 2022 World Cup Bid. A dynamic organization within a fast pace environment is seeking an Electrical Engineer to represent the Company in dealing with the authorities and Civil Defense. Your duties include providing Technical Input to all projects for approval by Local Authorities. You will be a member of the Electrical team reporting to the MEP leadership in Doha |
RequirementsRequirementsAs a Degree qualified Electrical Engineer and with at least 10 years post graduate work experience, your good understanding of a broad range of building design issues would be of value. Experience in working in teams on multi-disciplinary projects and interacting with a wide a range of engineering and planning disciplines is essential. You must have the ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines and have excellent planning and organization skills. Experience of working in the Middle East and knowledge of local codes and standards and Local Authority approvals and procedures. Previous experience of liaison with Local Authorities in Qatar, and successfully achieving DC2 submission approval. |
