Electrical Engineer

Job description / Role

This role is with leading EPC company in Qatar, the job holder needs to be able to carry out / demonstrate work experience in the followings:
• Ability to carry out up to 3.5 MVA transformers
• HT / LT transformer overhauling & erection.
• Oil leakage findings & gasket replacement
• OCTC replacement / repairing
• Cable lying and HT cable joints with brazing
• Dismantling of transformers & draining of oil
• Lifting, cleaning and tightening of core and coil assembly
• IR value improvement by high vacuum oil circulation
• LV / HV coil winding
• Knowledge in winding resistance measurement
• Knowledge of the various testing methods such as: No load / load testing, turn ratio testing, Tan delta/ capacitance test on bushing & winding and oil BDV testing

Requirements

The right candidate is:
• Electrical Engineer
• Has at least 6 years work experience in Transformer Overhauling & related jobs
• Willing to be relocated to Qatar.
• Team player with good communication skills.
