Electrical Engineer

Job description / Role

- Serve as the site representative for all matters related to construction quality assurance of electrical works. This includes reviewing contractors electrical/technical submittals, shop drawings, value engineering proposals and RFIs.
- Review contractors electrical change order proposals and prepare any appropriate recommendations to MEP Manager for review.
- Demonstrated experience and capability in all aspects of electrical engineering within construction, including HV and MV distribution, ELV systems such as Fire Alarm, IT, A/V, CCTV and Access control, plus underground utilities.
- Demonstrated experience on large scale Projects such as high-rise buildings, multi-purpose halls, villas, Hospitals, Healthcare and Medical Centres.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive client relationship and professional firm image.
- Ability to understand, identify and assess project risk.

Requirements

- With minimum of 10 years experience in Electrical Building roles for Engineer and minimum 15 years experience for Senior Engineer position.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and any appropriate Institutional affiliations (IEEE, NECA, IET, etc.) would be advantageous.
- Gulf experience is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written communication.
