The RoleThe RoleAllen & York are recruiting for a prestigious E&P Oil & Gas organization a Senior Electrical, I&C Engineer to be based in their Dubai offices, UAE. Position requires design/engineering expertise level in instrumentation/control and working knowledge on electrical discipline for offshore O&G platforms and onshore processing facilities with following activities: - Development and review of all kinds of engineering deliverables from EPIC contractor such as Design Basis, philosophies, Specifications, Data Sheets, sizing calculations, PDMS model, etc. - Assist and engage in prequalification of Contractors/ vendors related to Instrumentation/electrical disciplines. - Coordination during Installation, Commissioning, Operation & Maintenance Department and Field Engineering Department on all Technical matters related to Instrument, Electrical & Control completion and system commissioning documentation. - Ensure work in accordance with discipline procedures and work instruction. Verify various equipment materials/ equipment tag items and coordinate procurement for material inspection and verification. - Resolving site queries during tendering stage. - Assist in preparation of Technical Evaluation Report for EPIC Projects. - Providing input to other discipline at interface documents and drawings. - Review of SAFE Charts, Cause & Effect Drawings, F&G Gas Detectors Specifications, ESD/Shutdown system, DCS/PLC system, QRA, Constructability review etc. - Deputation at Site to resolve technical issues, STQ, during pre-commissioning & commissioning stages - Visit vendor works during FATs, SAT, etc. |
RequirementsRequirementsRequirements: Degree in instrumentation or electrical engineering. 15-20 (max) years of experience in design engineering and execution stages for offshore O&G platforms and onshore processing facilities. Conversant with applicable simulation software, sizing calculations. A consultant will be in contact should your application be taken further.
