Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Deliver timely, Electrical / Instrumentation/ Mechanical Training Services to ensure levels of staff satisfaction, compliance and cost-control
• Ensure training materials are prepared to meet company competency training requirements
• Train SA employees in his/her discipline as required
• Develop, prepare and provide written support materials for trainees
• Conduct assessments in the Electrical / Instrumentation/ Mechanical areas
• Conduct technical recruitment assessments for the Electrical / Instrumentation / Mechanical areas
• Provide feedback to trainees and key clients on trainee progress and competency achievements
• Carries out designing and fabrication of training equipment in the Electrical / Instrumentation/ Mechanical areas
• Ensure the training facility is prepared and in a safe condition to conduct training
• Provide on-the-job follow-up to training events to ensure competencies are transferred to the job
• Where training load is beyond ability of individuals; prepare and oversee the training of external providers in his/her discipline at the training facility
• Assist other training staff to ensure the best possi ble training is being prepared and delivered to meet company training requirements
• Developing Omani trainers in the line of Electrical / Instrumentation / Mechanical area
• Developing Training Materials and Assessments for both the Electrical / Instrumentation / Mechanical area
• Conduct the Multi Functional Technicians recovery program in both areas.
• Deliver basic Instrumentation/ Mechanical programs
Monitor Electrical / Instrumentation/ Mechanical Training requirements
Reporting and policy: Analyse Electrical / Instrumentation training
material ; prepare reports and recommendations to inform policy and key decisions

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in related field plus 5 years of experience or Diploma in related field plus 7 years of experience
• Well-developed technology skills including Microsoft office (intermediate level) and SAP modules
(intermediate level)
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
