Job description / Role
Main Function: (Related to Electrical Works)
- Technical Office activities including planning support, preparation of procurement requests, detailing, preparation of method statements, materials submittals, drawings submittals, quality, safety.
Duties and Responsibilities: (Related to Electrical Works)
- To be fully aware of the project specifications, drawings and contractual terms
- Ensure that all drawings, documentation and records in use are reviewed, approved and controlled for adequacy
- Ensure the implementation of the Project Quality Plan
- Prepare Method Statements
- Plan resources and plant requirements and arrange procurement to suit program requirements
- Liaise with consultant and subcontractors
- Plan and schedule the project activities in liaison with planning engineer
- Review and monitor the progress of the project
- Prepare and follow-up the documentation for claims and variation order
- Approve drawings, specifications and submittals and distribute them to concerned parties
- Define and implement corrective actions where deficiencies are detected
- Attend and follow-up ADDC and other Local Authorities requirements
- Comply, implement and participate in the improvement of established QMS/ EHS procedures/ documentations and maintain records keeping
- Ensure safe work environment
Requirements
- Management skills, planning and computer knowledge (Auto CAD & MS Office), fluency in English.
- BSC Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 7-10 years experience in MEP contracting Companies.
- Familiar with Local authorities like ADDC , ETISALAT etc.
- ELV Experience is a Plus.
