Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

1. Allocates work order and facilitates planning of the sections activities and coordinate with other engineers and operators to solve problems on electrical equipment and ensure safety and reliability
2. Carries out various duties related to electrical facility operation such as power system, monitoring, switching, transfer and trouble shoots on electrical issues
3. Monitor the electrical preventative maintenance program and maintenance reports
4. Supervises outside electrical contractors and calibrates electrical protection equipment
5. Review potential improvements to new system
6. Studies and analyzes chronic maintenance and operating problems which are electrically related
7. Proposed remedial measures
8. Develop and executes training program for technician
9. Develop maintenance procedures and instructions and ensure drawings and plans are up-to-date and as-built
10. Work with maintenance planning to schedule work for electrical section on day to day basis.

Requirements

1. Minimum 9 years experience in electrical maintenance and repair work preferably in oil and gas or petrochemical and refinery industries.
2. Certification on High Voltage Electricity course, high and low voltage systems
3. Diploma - Electrical Engineering
4 Good interpersonal and communication skills
5. Computer literacy, knowledge of ERP specifically SAP an advantage
