Our client, a leading global provider of national security services, is looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Electrical Supervisors to their UAE TEAM. Our client seeks proven performers in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure, Construction and/or Telecommunications experience to participate in the growth and development of their projects across the Middle East.

Reporting to the Construction Manager/Construction Supervisor and working as part of the Delivery – Project Management team, your responsibilities in the role will include:

• Responsible for the construction effort through the supervision of electrical personnel of the subcontractor and site electrical engineers in assigned area of project.
• Coordinates subcontractor activities to ensure orderly and efficient completion of work.
• Provide support to H&S Officers on the site and reports temporary and permanent electrical installation works which are not safe and non-compliant.
• Monitors installation against design to ensure compliance and best practice.
• Supports the Construction Manager to ensure timely completion against schedule and makes recommendations to increase resources to improve performance, where required.
• Provides inspection of completed work packages and recommendation of sign-off to the Construction Manager.
• Ensures subcontractors compliance with HSE and QA/QC Plans, Permit to Work systems and operating company procedures.

• Possess a relevant trade qualification and/or professional membership
• A Minimum of 6 years of construction related experience in Electrical and Infrastructure projects.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience (Middle East Preferred) as Electrical Supervisor in infrastructure projects, preferably in a secure environment.
• Knowledge of the BS Electrical Code and the ADWEA electrical Regulation.
• Previous experience and understanding relating to electrical and Communications installations and electrical construction techniques.
• Good physical health is needed as some sites are remote and working conditions involve exposure to seasonally high temperatures and humidity.
• Previous experience of working in a hazardous and controlled environment would be advantageous as will international consulting experience.
