FAMCO is an ISO 9001:2008 & ISO 14001:2004 certified company.We are looking to recruit an Electrical Technician - Power Generation Equipment to join our FAMCO team in Dubai.Key functors and accountabilities of this role include* Development of  service packages and markets these effectively to end users thereby generating additional work for the workshop and incremental parts sales as well. * Establish the rate cards for service packages (contracts) and provides these to the T&B team when required.* Developing and maintaining vehicle rolling stock in coordination with the Parts sales team. * Recommending  specifications for stock equipment and follow up with Body Builders to ensure proper fitment of accessories * Coordinating with workshop managers and ensuring that requested repair quotations are sent timely to customers. * Recommending technical training requirements for technicians to the National Service Manager .* Advising any change required on stock specifications and recommends the same to the Divisional Manager.* Advising parts departments on any specific stocking requirement related to parts of new products. * Providing market information on competitive activities (like labour rates, update on service organisation etc) * Regular interaction with the customer to inquire on product performance and offers timely assistance in the resolution of all queries thereby maintaining a healthy and profitable relationship between the company and the customer. |
RequirementsRequirementsThe selected candidate will have the following skills and qualifications and; * A Engineering degree or Computer Sciences degree* 3+ years of trucks sales or after sales marketing/product management experience. * Highly knowledgeable in truck technology. * This position requires travel to customer and non-customer sites within Oman.* Candidates with a working knowledge of ISO9001* Good knowledge of MS Office applications |
