Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Hands on working experience with different types Transformers, HV/LV motors, Protective relays and Switches. Able to independently carry out installation, modifications and maintenance activities on electrical equipment used in the Oil & Gas industry. Carry out routine Preventive Maintenance and corrective maintenance of all electrical equipment. Prepare PTW/JSA and TBT and other supporting documents as per job requirement. Reports faults and identifies requirements for major overhauls. Implementing isolations and de-isolation of electrical equipment. Maintenance of UPS, Battery chargers, Electrical monitoring & Control Systems. To read and review electrical drawings for maintenance and troubleshooting requirements. Supports for RCFA and MOC studies. Arranges for the selection of general engineering materials and spare parts required to perform assigned work. Responsible for company safety, environment and quality policies and programs. Supervise Contract technicians. To cover Mechanical oreman duties in case required and assigned.

Requirements

Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience: 5 years’ experience as Electrical Technician in a reputed oil & gas company. Hands on experience to work on Transformers, HV/LV motors, switch boards and equipment.

Good written and spoken English as well familiar with use of basic MS Office applications.
