Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Primary Responsibilities:

Teach Field crew about all aspects of electrical equipment maintenance and use
Promote safety awareness practices by ensuring safe working practices are adhered to in the lab/workshop to ensure safety of all
Develop and Deliver training and assessment to trainees, conduct competency based, classroom and workshop/OJT lessons to impart knowledge and skills to the standards required
To prepare course materials, lesson plans, teaching aids and to maintain labs and equipment
Promote a positive behavioural culture at the training centre and in the field
Teamwork with peers within department in relation to training matters by attending meetings for moderations, validations and problem solving to carry out quality training.

Requirements

Required Skills/Experience:
Maintenance field experience (land rigs), Native Arabic speaker is preferred
Vocational Training and Competence Assessment Experience
Excellent English and Communication Skills
Excellent personal presentation and grooming and a strong work ethic

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering (Diploma accepted if coupled with long term operational experience and solid vocational training experience in Oil and Gas industry)

Desired Qualifications:
D32 and or D33, or A1/A2 Assessor Award AND/OR
D34 or V1 Internal Verifier Award

Minimum Experience:
8 years

Location:
Based in Muscat Oman with 25% travel to the field sites
