Job description / Role
- Evaluating client purchase specifications & drawings
- Liaison with other departments, Mechanical, Projects, Production, Systems
- Designing and preparing all package electrical and instrumentation requirements
- Preparing, placing, expediting & checking sub-supplier POs.
- Preparing and checking instrument data sheets
- Inspection and testing of E&I equipments and control panels
- Preparation of E&I drawings like JB Interconnection, Hook Up drawings, Power Distribution drawing etc as per the project requirement.
Requirements
- A Bachelors Degree holder in electrical or instrumentation engineering
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in the oil & gas industry
- Good written and spoken English
- Computer/PC literacy in Windows/Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of Metering skids, Field Instrumentation, Electrical items like JB, Power distribution Board, Hazardous area classification, IEC/AGA/API/MPMS standards .
