Job description / Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Regional Electronic Security Systems Division; we are looking for experienced Bid Coordinator to focus on Key Projects. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the bid process from start to end ensuring that all pre-qualifications and proposals are complete and to a high standard before being submitted to our clients.
- You will support our other ESS business units across the AME region for major bids as and when required.
- Insure all required information is distributed to the design teams to prepare technical and commercial proposals in line with the AME ESS Strategy.
- Extract key information such as Liabilities, Terms & Conditions etc to be sent to the appropriate Legal and Finance departments for review and approval.
- Identify opportunities through various tender board websites, media and news papers and log these in sales force.
- Reviewing both technical and commercial proposals to ensure meets the clients requirement and best value for money yet are within the Companies approved Commercial Terms.
Requirements
- Ability to work with a high level of initiative and limited supervision often in high pressure situation.
- Understanding of key business issues and a track record in overcoming these issues through products and services application/knowledge.
- Understanding of business operations both internally and of the target markets.
- Effective planning & organizing to execute sound business plans.
- Ability to assimilate complex documentation and extract essential information for consideration by a VP.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines always maintaining proper focus to enable responsible decisions to be made.
- Ability to manage smooth running of documentation (paper and electronic) in complex office environment, including updating procedures, records, databases.
- Ability to work from own initiative and independently when required.
- Excellent communication ability, written and spoken business English required.
- Intermediate user knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
- Good English, communication, presentation and influencing skills.
