Job description / Role
Khaleej Times is currently looking to hire a dynamic and professional individual for the role of Electronics Engineer. This is a great opportunity for someone with printing machinery background to propel their career into the fast lane by taking up this very responsible and challenging position.
Job Accountabilities:
Planning / Scheduling: Participate in planning, scheduling and execution of shutdown and major overhaul maintenance activities. Maintenance: Supervise, coordinate and participate in preventive and corrective, maintenance activities and troubleshooting of plant and other equipment. Parts Management and Record Keeping: Maintaining service / job records, manuals, tools and report related to the emergency spare parts etc. Training / Safety: Being a senior responsible to trained the juniors for better productivity and motivate them in order to enhance their potentials for the prosperity of the company. Taking safety measures, handling of proper tools to avoid accidents and increase the life of machinery. Special projects assigned by LINE including testing new materials provided by Technical Manager. Assign other related work to concern staff and ensure that work is completed in good order.
Requirements
• BSc Engineering / PG Engineering Degree
• Experience in printing machinery is required
• No. of years of exposure in the related field
5 plus years of overall experience with minimum 3 years in printing machinery. Good supervisory, communication, interpersonal and time management skills are required to get the newspaper printed daily without any technical / machine / staff related issues.
