Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

To plan, direct and manage all required operational, administrative activities related to Emergency Coordination, and administer the TPQ Emergency management program in close coordination with the relevant local authorities and governmental bodies with accordance to the laws, rules and regulations implemented in the State of Qatar,. To organize and direct those services and activities pertinent to emergency preparedness of TPQ and coordinate response to actual emergencies and disasters in line with TPQ HSE and The Shield security services and their respective vision, mission and objectives

Requirements

•University degree, specializing in risk management and /or emergency management.

•Preferably completed formal emergency qualification (FEMA) and /or OHS qualifications

•Operations, services and activities of an emergency services and disaster relief program

•Typical city-wide emergency services and processes.

•Principles and practices of supervision and training.

•Public safety response and coordination

•Disaster recovery management.

•Principles and practices of emergency service
program development and implementation.

•Concepts of emergency activities at various levels of government.

•Intergovernmental relations and political processes.

•Methods and techniques of disseminating information and soliciting public support.

•Recent developments, current literature and information related to emergency preparedness and disaster relief.

•Basic procedures, methods and techniques of budget preparation and control.

•Modern office equipment including computers and applicable software applications.

•Pertinent local laws, codes and safety regulations

•Demonstrable management abilities of value-for-money contracts across a range of capital equipment and manpower.
