We have urgent job opening at Al Ain Hospital based in Abu Dhabi.
Currently they are looking for well experienced Emergency / ICU Staff Nurse.

Hospital Information:
Al Ain Hospital is a highly specialized acute care and emergency hospital with 412 beds and 30 medical institutes and divisions. It is one of the two major hospitals in the Al Ain region of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi under the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company SEHA.

Requirement:-

Staff Nurse – Emergency (Male / Female)
Staff Nurse – ICU (only Females)
Staff Nurse – (Males / Females)

Qualifications: BS Nursing, BLS, ACLS, PALS relevant to area of specialty
Experience: Not less than 4 years clinical experience post qualification in relevant healthcare settings in area of specialty

Specific skills

Staff Nurse, Emergency Medicine Demonstrate knowledge and skill in:

• Meeting holistic care needs of a patient in EMD Triage Area.
• The ventilation of a patient with an Ambubag.
• The preparation and assistance of safe and effective Cardioversion.
• The preparation and assistance of a patient with Inter Costal drain insertion.
• The safe use of a Defibrillator with Adult defibrillation.
• The correct interpretation of basic ECG rhythm.
• The care of a patient throughout conscious sedation (moderate & deep) in the Emergency Dept.
1. Demonstrate effective air way management.
2. Proof of a valid BLS certificate.
3. Demonstrate knowledge of pharmacology and adverse effects, administration, dosage, and emergency interventions of the sedative drugs and its reversal agents used in the Emergency Department.
4. Demonstrate skills in equipment setup, troubleshooting and the monitoring of parameters.

Staff Nurse, ICU (females only)
Demonstrate knowledge and skill meeting the Holistic Nursing Care needs of patients undergoing:
• Spinal Surgery
• Open Reduction and Internal Fixation of Fractures
• External Fixation of Fractures
• Casts
• Skin Traction
• Skeletal Traction
• Neurosurgical procedure
• Clinical management of ICP
• Renal replacement therapy
• Arterial line and CVC line management
• Setting up a transducer
• Assisting with Arterial CVC line insertion
• In Restraint

Demonstrate knowledge and skill in:
• Neurological assessment of a patient
• Care, management and complications of pin site care
• Safe use of a Defibrillator
• Performing vascular assessment and the use of a Doppler on a patient
• Application of an Auto Chill Machine
• Application of a Sequential Compression Device
• Safe nursing care of a patient receiving epidural analgesia.
• Safe nursing care of a patient receiving continuous IV Patient Controlled Analgesia through a PCA-Pump.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skill in meeting the Holistic Nursing Care needs and management of the surgical patient.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills in the care and management of patient with Burn Wounds
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills in preparing, assisting and caring of the patient receiving a nasal pack.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills in the instillation of eye drops and application of eye packs
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills in vascular assessment and the use of a Doppler in patients with DVT.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills in preparing and assisting with an Under Water Drain tube Insertion and Removal.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills in management and care of a patient with an Under Water Drain Tube.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skill in performing Bladder Irrigation.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills in post operative positioning and ambulation
